At four years old she began singing, and soon managed to earn some recognition when she asked her mom to invite her to Sesame Street auditions. When she was six-year-old, she began an acting career as a regular performer on the PBS children's show Sesame Street. She continued her acting career in New York City with many shows that included Fences which is a Broadway production, as well as Orfeo del Campo which is Off-Broadway's production. When she was seven, she was a contestant on Star Search and won twice with a rating of four stars when she appeared for another time.
