Antonina Shevchenko, an Kyrgyzstani Muaythai fighter from Peru, and mixed martial arts athlete competing for UFC. UFC at the flyweight division,, is a Kyrgyzstani. She is also the older sister of the former UFC Flyweight champion as well as co- UFC competitor Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko first began combat sports as a Muay Thai kickboxer. Shevchenko made her debut in the IFMA World Championship Tournament of 2003. Shevchenko defeated Suzane McKell in the finals via a majority decision. Antonina Shevchenko was awarded an additional medal in the year 2007, a bronze in 2008, and a gold in 2011, and then was named in the position of IFMA Amateur World MuayThai Champion in 2016. Antonia launched her professional career at the age of 23 in 2003. Antonina defeated Nievera by her impressive striking ability in the final clinch by using knees on the body. After this win, Antonina received a UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko debuted in UFC at the TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko lost to Roxanne modafferi by split decision after she won her first fight. Antonina has recovered from her defeat by beating Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler via a rear-naked choke submission. This earned her the prize of fight-of-the-night. Shevchenko was defeated by Katlyn along with Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She won over Ariane Lipski but she beat Ariane. Antonina lost her last fight to Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos-Walker.
