Laura Linney (born February 5 1964 New York New York U.S.) American actress best recognized for her strong but weak character. Linney grew up in the family of actors since her father Romulus Linney is a playwright. Linney graduated from Brown University in 1986 and later studied at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and graduated in the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City. In the year 1990, she began her career on Broadway and eventually receiving praise for her roles as Hedda Gabler in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
